This Sparteine Sulfate (an alkaloid derived from the seeds of the Spartina genus of plants) antique glass poison bottle is from the 1910's to 1920's and has a cut glass bottle stopper with a wax seal (airtight).
There is a glass tube inside containing the poisonous mineral.
Sparteine sulfate is not currently FDA-approved for human use and has been withdrawn from the market for safety or effectiveness reasons.
